what did william do after the battle of hastings?


He did not kill the British becasue there were no british, there were Anglo-Saxons, and he didn't kill them either.
He became King (of England) and gave the land which had belonged to Saxon nobles to his Norman nobles. this did not affect the 'ordinary' man very much, he just paid his taxes to a different Lord.
